Momin Abbas is our Laboratory Manager and a key force in keeping the lab running efficiently day in and day out. Momin first joined Battlab in 2022 as an Office Administrator, before progressing into a Laboratory Technician role in early 2023. His dedication and capability saw him move into a Laboratory Supervisor position in late 2023 to early 2024. After a brief period working at another laboratory, we were thrilled to welcome him back to Battlab — where he became Laboratory Manager in November 2025.

Momin takes great pride in the trust placed in him by the team and enjoys the problem-solving and critical thinking that comes with the role. One of his proudest achievements has been overseeing the expansion of the Biochemistry, PCR and ELISA departments. Momin was inspired to join Battlab by its commitment to prioritising quality over quantity and its personalised approach to client service, alongside a strong emphasis on professional development across multiple disciplines.

Outside of work, Momin enjoys hiking, playing football, and spending time with friends and family. A great day at work for him? When none of the analysers require therapy — and a cup of tea is never far away ☕😄
