Would you like to start using our laboratory services? Nothing could be easier! Simply download and complete a submission form from our website and send it along with the sample to our laboratory. We will analyse your sample and send you the report as soon as possible, including a written comment/interpretation by one of our clinical pathologists.

There are no contracts to sign and you can use our services for as infrequently or as often as you wish. We will always do our best to provide you rapid, efficient and high-quality service.

How to send samples

Below you can download the submission form that should accompany all samples and where you can include all the details about the animal (signalment, clinical signs) and tests requested. If you do not see the test you want on our submission form, do not worry, it is very likely we can still offer it. Check our price list or feel free to give us a call.

All it takes simple call to our laboratory to book your courier. The first time you call will just take a few moments to ensure we have all the details needed. Alternatively, below you can also find the link to download the free postage label. This will save you the time to write the address on the parcel and the money to ship the sample.

If your practice is based in the Midlands, give us a call; we might be able to send our couriers daily to collect the samples at your doorstep.

Reports are sent to our clients by email and/or fax. For most tests, we offer same day a turnaround time (eg. haematology, biochemistry, endocrinology, cytology). For other tests, the turnaround time is indicated on our price list. All reports are accompanied by a written comment/interpretation, provided by our team of experts. BattLab is proud to offer very high quality, rapid service. Our pathologists are always available should you wish to further discuss a case over the phone.

Laboratory Supplies

New customers will receive a starter kit containing all the laboratory supplies they need (tubes, swabs, histology pots, submission forms), informative material and a few gadgets. If you want to receive a starter pack send us an email to admin@battlab.com

If you are a Battlab client, simply download our supplies form, located below, to request all the material you need. We will send it to you asap by post or by local courier. All laboratory supplies are free of charge for our clients.

Prices, invoices and payments

Invoices are raised the last day of each month with thirty-day deferred payment terms, and are subject to VAT at 20%. A breakdown of requests is supplied on a separate print out including lab number, patient name, requests and costs.

Payments can be made by either cheques or electronic payments. We are not able to process card payments currently. All invoices are sent via email.
